  1. @destevez Thinking about some your proposal as I am currently implementing #SigMF support for #FutureSDR that will also be used for an #IQengine plugin... I have similar use-cases in mind for instance for SSTV decoding. Yet I do not think that embedding image in base64 directly into json would be a good idea. Or at least, I would prefer something like the img html5 tag supporting Data URLs: developer.mozilla.org/en-US/do

  8. Congrats @destevez, well deserved for #MaiaSDR !

Meanwhile @BrunoLevy01 and @sylefeb this might be of interest to you as, during the #SDR Academy conference ( #sdra 2023.sdra.io/ ), they also call for more #FPGA people to submit for next year. A bit like when you Sylvain have presented #Silice to South Indian SDR User Group (SI-SDR-UG) youtu.be/fr4Dst1fQrk?t=10554

  9. RE: mastodon.social/@destevez/1164

Today, @destevez is at it again: he wrote an in-depth analysis of NB-IoT (one of the LTE-family standards, aimed at lowest data rates) downlink signals. I'm slowly working through it, and I learn a lot!

By the way, people might not have noticed, but he shares recordings on Zenodo.org / publishes them within @OpenAIRE ; which makes this data available for people who want to follow along his work, but also for designers of CtFs, RFML folks and lecturers.

In case you have additions to an #opensource project like @destevez's excellent gr-satellites, the right way is to let "upstream" know about it, and not let these addition lie in obscurity in your favorite forum.
If you need help adding your changes to the upstream repository, **ask**. Seriously, in this case, the whole #gnuradio community would be eager to help you get your SatYAML into gr-satellites.
You help yourself, you help everyone else best that way, and future changes inherently apply.

  15. Shoutout to @argilo for running the #GRCon CtFs, to Ben, Vlad Fomitchev, Aerospace Team Platypus and especially @destevez for the extensive writeups (seriously, **read the writeups linked on the ctf-202× page**, they are impressive).
And of course to @c3assemblies for offering space to the team organizing the CtF at #38c3.
