  9. A few photos from today's walk at #DashPoint.

A walk through the woods, followed by a bunch of gardening work, has laid me low. 7 miles today according to my Fitbit. Am tired.

  10. A few photos from today's visit to #DashPointWA in #FederalWay. My wife and I caught an unexpected low tide during our visit and mostly just walked on the beach.

I've never seen this many #SandDollars in Washington before, there were thousands of them! Only seen that before in Oregon. Had to be careful where we stepped at some points. Two pictures here to demonstrate it, since the zoomed-out one doesn't really do it justice. Each of those dark lines is a sand dollar.

  14. Went to #DashPoint for a walk today, spotted a couple rock friends and some cool #mosses.

Love how looking for this stuff forces you to slow down and enjoy the trails; it's almost meditative.

  17. (2/2) Here's my wife's video of the same owl, just chilling and being awesome. We didn't stick around long; didn't want to put her off her hunt.

  18. (1/2) Out walking yesterday with my wife, I spotted what I'm pretty sure is a #BarredOwl perched on a branch about twenty feet away from us. Her attention was mostly focused on the pond nearby, but we definitely caught a cautious glance from her.

If was really something special to see the bird just doing her thing, probably waiting for a frog to snack on.
