So the other day Wifeski and I were sitting in a fairly nice restaurant, waiting far too long for our meals, when she asked me to look something up on my phone. I hit the wrong button and opened Gemini A.I. Before I could catch myself I yelled out "Fucking A.I!". I think I made more than a few people smile...

Came home to find the 3D printer had crashed. Turns out the poop chute was full. There was a huge gob of melted plastic at the top, right near the wiper blade, that the hot end got caught on and was stuck.
Cleaned it all out, seems to be working ok now.

Strange. I went outside without a coat today, and didn't instantly freeze to death

#raspberryPi #raspberryPi5 Was at my local surplus store today, and noticed that they have RP5 4G models for only $99.99 (this is in Canada). Compare that to $153.95 at PiShop.ca. I was tempted to buy the whole stock, I must admit...

Yesterday we had hail. Today it's snowing. It's supposed to go up to 22C by Thursday. Guess who has a cold?

Running 3 Pironman 5 setups, each with two NVME 1TB drives. Having lots of issues with the second drive on each device. Basically the OS sometimes sees the drive, but won't talk to it, sometimes it doesn't see the drives at all. The one that does work has many R/W errors. Anybody seen this before?

Wifeski heard rumours that the Girl Guides were making the rounds.. So we got in the truck and went hunting! Finally found a pack of them a few blocks from the house. I rolled down the window, gave them all the cash I had and said "how much will that get me?"

#samsung #raspberryPi #kodi #libreelec Having a problem with getting the remote on my Samsung TV to work with Kodi (in LibreELEC) to work again. Sometimes the TV's remote and LibreELEC stop talking to each other, but after a few days it magically starts working again. So far it's been three weeks since it last worked. Does anyone know of either go solid fix for this, or can recommend a good universal remote that would handle both the Samsung TV and the Raspberry Pi 4?
