CW: age attestation, California AB1043
Suppose an operating system doesn't issue signals for adult lusers who aren't 'Users' as defined by AB1043 (that is, defining adult lusers to be eighteen years or older).
Further suppose that the California Attorney General issues an injunction against the OS providers as per the law text despite no 'User' being harmed.
Does the Attorney General have legal standing in court to enforce this injunction in the absence of any harmed party?

@JenniferSlack Curiously, the two main aspects of the Weave are mentioned or exemplified by the oft-referenced Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs:

For comparison, Alcatraz Island is another location that Mr Trump wants for psychological reasons.
<quote> It sort of represents something that's both horrible and beautiful and strong and miserable — weak. It's got a lot of [...] qualities that are interesting</quote>

Example locus:
<q>but then you have to come back to the story where was air force one taking you so anyway I do a weave</q>
https://youtu.be/BTbXkxfBT3I?t=53Also (from the JR podcast at the end of this thread) editing loci breaks them:
<q>where I'll give an answer and they'll
take a couple of words and change them
around or they might even take a
sentence or two off which is very bad
but that's it's sort of bad you know I'd
give an answer which was a very good
answer</q>
#TheWeave -
CW: uspol
@JenniferSlack Ultimately, the point of the Weave is not the full truth of stream of consciousness but tribalism: the Weave accepts those seeking entertainment & rewards them with approval & memorable enemies & bewilders those seeking the speaker's subjective sensory perception:
<q>JR:Uh-huh, gotta get back to home
DT: no no it comes back home for the right people. For the wrong people it doesn't come back home & they end up in the wilderness</q>

@JenniferSlack The Weave shares emotive or aspirational aspects with stream of consciousness, yet these aspects are primarily rhetorical in the Weave (and if pretended, flippantly feigned). Stream of consciousness would include all of the speaker's private doubts and inconvenient observations, but the speaker using the Weave abandons much of this humility to make room for more mnemonic types for the loci adding a character and an emotion to each locus.

CW: uspol
@JenniferSlack …then the speaker still gets the salient aspect of the loci that is useful for storytelling (hypotyposis) and being generally entertaining.
<q>Great entertainer, I'm saying and that's what he's playing on. He'll sit there and
entertain you [...] that's part of the weave bull***</q>
Also, the valid mental brace view:
<q>It's not the weave
it's the excuse
it's his excuse for
his inability to stay focused on a particular topic.</q>

@JenniferSlack Next question is, "Why would a looping sequence of loci be desirable as a backbone to the Weave?" Consider another loci-based structure: the method of loci
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Method_of_loci#:~:text=a%20familiar%20route%20with%20firmly%20established%20stop%2Dpoints%20or%20loci)
uses an ordered, linear sequence of loci because locations on a route are both salient & logically ordered which makes them easier to remember. But if the speaker foregoes forward ordering because they only need reverse connections to retreat after exhausting the current locus…#TheWeave #writers -

<quote>They used to say, "Oh, he's rambling."
No, I'm not rambling — it's like genius, okay? [unintelligible] I let you know when I ramble & then we'll have the talk. </quote>
Claim #1: Stream of consciousness would be unstructured, but he claims genius & so requires an elegant structure.<quote>No, I cover different territories [vehicular onomatopoeia] it always ends up back in the right location.</quote>
Claim #2: looping loci structure. -

Please help me find examples of truthiness lacking _loci_ or *identity* mnemonics.
As an example of truthiness, consider this response a question about a certain election:
"I think that *Donald Trump and I* have both raised a number of issues with the _2020 election_, but *we're* focused on the _future_. *I* think there's an obsession _here_ with focusing on 2020 — *I'm* much more worried about what happened after 2020, which is a wide open _border_" - JD V -

I had not heard Mastodon mentioned by name on public radio until today. I had heard phrases like "alternatives" or "other places". One time it was even referenced (not by name) as some alternative with a buffalo/bison mascot.
