Sprague has a vegan Quebec split pea soup.
Sprague is a multigenerational family business in Belleville, Ontario that has come out of the shadows of mainly making house/own label brands for grocers.
They’ve been working to source everything in Canada they possibly can, switching to Quebec-made cans and sourcing ingredients they cannot get it Canada elsewhere than the United States.
They have great beans too!
Most of their soups and beans are plant-based-vegan but some have <2% meat so it’s important to check labels if you’re avoiding all animal products.

Thank you everyone! I’m blown away by the support for the Coldest Night of the Year walk in Burlington #CNOY24 #BurlON last night. Good news from #CAEH - The Mayor of St Thomas, Joe Preston, has withdrawn his support for the controversial letter to Ontario Premier Doug Ford that asked the province to use the #notwithstanding clause to override the courts and give cities extra powers to evict people from #encampments.
Mayor Preston decided to withdraw his support for the letter given the success his community has had without it. /2
