You know what? Good for them, props to Culture Minister Giuli too. The earlier decision not to let Russia and Israel be eligible for awards was flimsy and pathetic. This move has a degree of actual substance. But continuing to allow their participation still sucks & I'm sure letting visitors select favourites won't be open to manipulation attempts at all...

So far, I have two votes for Beaujolais, also suggested: Gredos Garnacha, Bandol, 🇦🇷 Malbec. There is also some semi-sweet Central Asian #wine out there too (not for a story, just a personal project)
