I have beads in my long grey beard so sometimes, when I bend over something, my beads scrape across a surface and make a noise. My first reaction is never "oh, that's my beard beads like all the other times" instead it's always "oh god, what part of my body is failing now?".

Many many years ago Microsoft threatened Valve with locking Steam out of Windows. I'm impressed how much Valve took it to heart and joined in with the existing work to break the Windows dependency for games. It's been a slow and bumpy road, but without them we'd be far behind where things are now. No org is perfect, but I find their sustained effort and continued openness (for however long it lasts) on this front laudable.

I know I was lucky to get one at all but my Steam Controller still hasn't shipped yet >.<
The first test will be playing #ProjectZomboid on it, which is playable directly on Steam Deck controls but almost impossible on a connected controller (not enough inputs, poor mouse emulation).

I got this out of print bad boy as an early Xmas present. It explains the syntax and grammar in ways Duolingo does not.
