Leadership weakens when the self demands to be seen. In governance, in societies, and in life, fixation on personal identity compresses vision and narrows responsibility. Power bends inward, systems lose coherence, and collective purpose fragments. The grand cannot move through structures crowded by ego. Awakening advances only where space is created, where the self recedes enough for something larger to pass through and lead.
