Going to vote today, municipal elections are important too and often are the fulcrum around which real local change can happen. Hell, I should have voted like 2 weeks ago, but still everybody should vote.
Don't let the guilt of being uninformed overwhelm your civic responsibility.
This is the equivalent of trying to go pee before a long car trip even if you don't feel like you have to go, do it anyways.

Granville Island Lions Winter Ale is definitely in my top 3 beers of all time.
No particular order:
1) Mt. Begbie Tall Timber
2) Granville Island Winter Ale
3) Whitewater Brewing Farmer's Daughter Blonde AleHonorable mention: pretty much the entire catalogue of Mt. Begbie, definite my singular favourite brewery hands down. They have at least 5 amazing beers, and their Kolsch is the best lighter beer I've ever had.
This Granville Winter Ale might just be my all-time favourite.
