  1. This #indigenous man revived Inti Raymi. Faustino Espinoza Navarro (Quechua) was a playwritght and linguist from Cusco, Peru. In 1943, Espinoza and a research team studied chronicles, anthropology, and oral history, and reconstructed the #intiraymi festival after 409 yrs. Espinoza would act as its 1st Inca.     José Carlos Mariátegui's Indigenist masterpiece "Seven Interpetive Essays on Peruvian Reality" (1928) has just translated into #quechua after 96 years since publication. Mariátegui's book has been a guidebook for #indigenous peoples in Peru and #latinamerica since the 1920s. This is amazing news for #nativeamerican peoples across the continent.
