CW: Discussing horror movies
@MarkCodesTheWeb I'll have to give those a try. I haven't watched any good ones this year. I just saw #smilemovie last week. It wasn't well made but the concept was cool.

The new Man Or Astro-Man? ep is great! They've shifted from being instrumental surf rock to playing nu-wave indie rock (with lyrics), but I think they still sound great. The music still has that campy sci-fi schtick and those surf rock licks still creep back in to their current sound.
Inspired by @MarkCodesTheWeb, I'll use the #TodaysTunes tag when sharing music recommendations like this. https://chunklet.bandcamp.com/album/distant-pulsar-2x7?from=fbutts #sciencefiction #indierock #bandcamp

Today I’m in the mood for something a little heavier and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s kind of a math core/melodic mix that’s really good today while doing chores around the house. Be prepared to air drum while listening to this one.

@sia I started #TodaysTunes to share what I’m listening to each day while working. Also for other people to use to share.
I follow mostly tech or hobbies like #Developer #JavaScript #Comics #Horror and stuff. There are a lot of developers on here sharing great tips. And everyone is posting about the stuff they enjoy.
#ThickTrunkThursday is a popular one for nature lovers. Or #Mosstodon.
I also like #Positivity #A11y and #Accessibility

Today I’m listening to one of my favorite Albums by one of my favorite groups. I don’t know how to describe them other than experimental progressive rock but also not? You have to just hear it for yourself and then check out all their other albums because they’re all really good.

This album rarely gets mentioned but it’s my second favorite album from #TheCure.

I really enjoy horror books and movies. I wanted to mention some of my recent favorites.
#TheDarkAndTheWicked on #Shudder is fantastic. I have some opinions/theories about it after several viewings that I would love to discuss with other fans.
#Seed by Ania Ahlborn is a book I read recently and it was so good. It was on the shorter side but kept me hooked and the ending was surprising.
