Well, it looks like I'm firing up the ol' coal-powered web log… Before a new piece this month, here's some CNF first published in The Quarantine Review. It's about #adoption, academic travels in northern #BC, and discovering a beloved childhood author was an abuser (it's 1 of 3 pieces on this: a #blog, #CNF, and an #academic #article).

If this is #NationalLibrarianDay it’s a good chance to say my first public library as a child was in the small local mall & was great. They repurposed store fixtures & made it work. In high school the town worked together with volunteers to build a community centre that now houses the library, & years upon years later it was a regular spot for me to stop in and write when my boys were with their grandparents. More libraries, especially the small ones!
