Just to inform you to update your style sheet, as that seems very inline with your helpful post! 😀
#TTRPG and #IndieTTRPG are the generic tags for the domain and subdomain.
I also favour adding #TTRPGResources for information posts like this one.
To boost outside of servers touched by mstdn.social consider using @indiettrpg which autoboosts all mentions of it.
Thanks again!

@Editrix_Rachel Separated by a common language. One of my favourite quotes. Churchill? I, like you, enjoy the differences. But ultimately you’re always the newcomers to this language. #Smugness. #superiorexpression. 😂😘

@WendyBaldwinLinguaverse @carolinavonkampen @Editrix_Rachel yes, Carolina is live reporting superstar! I want to go off the bird site. I used it for the Professional Editors Guild conf. a few months ago and got no engagement at all. With #ACES and #CIEP conferences coming up next month, am wondering where #editors are gathering for any live threads to be most useful.

What's an unusual word that you've come across in two or more of your editing projects? I'll start: arcology.

It's done! Last night I finished knitting the Midwest Moonlight scarf for my MIL. I washed it and blocked it, and it should (hopefully) be fully dry in a day or so.
This is my second time making this pattern by Ivy Bigelow, and I love how the blocks are angled in different directions. 🧶

Vermont Public is having their winter membership drive and offering a very Vermont-appropriate sweepstakes. The winner will receive four snow tires.

I'm making some progress on the Midwest Moonlight scarf for my MIL. This photo was taken last week, when I was at around the two-thirds marker. I'm now around 4/5 of the way through.🧶

Last week, while taking a #stetwalk after #ACESVCON25, I noticed this spray-painted amendment on the road where some construction is being done.
This is the construction workers' version of the copyeditors' stet.

I finished my first brioche knitting project. It's a cowl made from Malabrigo Noventa yarn 🧶.
I took an online class in June from Darn Knit Anyway to learn how to do it. There are mistakes in it, but since it's for me, that's okay. Brioche knitting is really fun, and it makes such a plush texture.

Look what I came across on my #stetwalk, a stick library! The people who put this out also have a Little Free Library. The stick library is lower than the book library, making it easier for dogs to spot the sticks.

Went to Replay Arts in White River Junction on Saturday. They are a craft thrift store offering everything from yarn, and fabric to computer parts, books and more. Such a cool store. I got everything in the first photo, plus a graphics card, for $15. So glad the Upper Valley has this resource.

Cat spotting! I saw this cutie on today's #StetWalk. I have a soft spot for black tortoiseshells like her because we had a cat named Torrie who had similar coloring.

Gorgeous weather on today's #StetWalk. It's in the high 50s and the sky is very clear. While we're likely past peak foliage, there are still a lot of leaves on trees. I also spotted what I think is an eastern cottontail nibbling on some greens and got to pet one of the neighborhood dogs, Kingsley.

Some of the pictures I took in Tunbridge, Vermont, where I attended the Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival. One vendor didn't just have an Emotional Support Chicken on display, the chicken had pasties or tassels covering its breasts. The needle-felted witch is so cool, and I got to talk to the maker about the process of making her.

I got back from a lovely trip to the Crystal Coast in North Carolina. We stopped for a day in Richmond, VA, on the way down.
While there, we stopped at Bargain Books Richmond and I got a bunch of cool books. I could have stayed there for hours and gotten way more books. I found a binder filled with accessory patterns. I love how this creator shot the final project: with a cameo by her cat. I also spotted one of @grammargirl books in the writing section. 🧶 #knitting #usedbook #bookstore

Timeline cleanse. Here's a photo of a bumblebee gathering pollen from a hosta flower. I took this a few days ago during my morning walk.

Yesterday I gave a presentation about becoming a freelance copyeditor to a group of 7th to 9th graders. This was through a partnership between Vermont Works for Women and the Vermont Virtual Learning Cooperative.
Here's one of my slides that covers the pros and cons of the profession.
