  7. Only two people for interviews tomorrow and I’m interviewing with a lovely colleague I don’t get to spend much time with, which has made it all the more pleasant to look forward to.

  12. Walked a pleasing 9.6km in the sunshine, and tackled a good few very steep hills along the route. Now for second breakfast!

  13. I’ve called the clinic and left them a message about the app issues so they should call back when they reopen on Monday. *shrugs*

Anyhoo, Dottie’s been walked and fed. The groceries have been bought and put away. The car has been fuelled up. Breakfast has happened. The labour saving devices are activated. Think I’ll go and walk a few km to start the weekend off properly.

  14. I note that the medical study app which I am to use to record my daily data has logged me out. As it was set up in the clinic, and I wasn't given a copy of the ID code which is used to log in, I can't log back in. I think that's a bit of bad planning on their part. Nice work lads! Looking forward to spending time on the phone getting that sorted on Monday 🙄

  15. All is well with Dottie so we’re reducing her steroids and carrying on. She’s put another .25 kg on too, which is rather good. I’m having a glass of wine to celebrate. Cheers!

  20. Whether today's injection was a vaccine or merely an inert thing, I'm feeling a little weary. Maybe it's just because it's been a long week and it's Thursday though.

  21. A couple of years ago me and the husband were part of a covid vaccine trial, where we received a vaccination with either the standard version or a new version. We completed diaries for 6 months, had regular health checks, etc, and got paid.

Today I started a trial for a bird flu vaccine where I got a full health check and then received wither a placebo or an actual vaccine. I'm not dead so far, but will be having check ups, calls, completing diaries, and so on for a while.
