The bell piano is new to me. There was good volume and sound in the snow, making it surprising for me that the recording was done outside. Thanks for sharing an unusual instrument! -

@AceArsenault This has been a fun insight into using photo-diodes. I tracked down some instabilities, opened up the bandwidth a bit.
The V1.0 is a generic front end for #optical #communication work but I'm modifying it a bit to receive #IRDA. I'm hoping to decode it and transmit valid frames out to devices in my apartment. If all goes well I'll get a REV out that I can control from #MQTT via #homeassistant . #electronics
