Today, Pandora's Tale Wiki reaches an important milestone. If the wiki were a software project, then version 0.0.1 would have been in September 2022 (the wikis founding), version 1.0 would have been in August 2023, and version 2.0 would be released today.
What's so big about today's update? It requires some explanation that doesn't fit in this instance's character limit, so please see the blog post.

Notice something new on the Rainverse Wiki home page?
That's right, we have a poll!
Inspired by polls on Super Mario Wiki, we will periodically ask you, the readers, assorted questions about the Rainverse! When the poll concludes, it will be replaced by another poll, and the results will be moved to the new Poll Archive page.
This new feature is thanks to @[email protected] and @[email protected] . Awhile back, @[email protected] started whining on Miraheze Discord and Rainverse Matrix that there were inadequate polling options available on Miraheze. In response to Beth's whining, Claire made a whole new MediaWiki extension, and Average Helper and Claire did the hard work to get it installed on Miraheze.
I'm also ready to preemptively announce plans for the Rain Character Tournament 3 and the My Impossible Soulmate Character Tournament 1. Each character tournament will ask you to vote for your favorite character in a series of matches, with winning characters advancing to the next round until only one remains.
Neither tournament will happen for awhile: The next Rain Character Tournament will likely begin several months after the release of Rain Volume 7, while the first MIS Character Tournament will not begin until after MIS Volume 1 is released. But we can announce that when these character tournaments do happen, you'll be able to vote straight from the wiki home page.

In 2017(!), I made a Tumblr post analyzing Sister Claire, the webcomic and webfiction series by Elena Barbarich and Ash Barnes. Though the story is really good, it's difficult for a new reader to figure out the best order to read it in. I compared and evaluated several possible reading orders and made an argument about which one I thought was the best.
Six years later the story continues to update with more awesome every weekday, but it is no more approachable than it was before. I think it's time to update my old Tumblr post and move it to the fediverse.
