I came late to the Uncle Floyd party - but am sure glad I made it! About 4 years ago a friend, who's distantly related to Floyd suggested I send him "You Can't Get There from Here in Jersey" for his weekly radio show. Floyd really embraced the song and played it on several occasions.
I dedicate yesterday's performance to Floyd, may his memory be a blessing.

My wife Amy and I were having a conversation about a bandmember who was busy with college engineering classes and couldn't make it to a gig. So Amy said to me, "Well she isn't taking underwater basket weaving." And I thought about it and said, "underwater basket weaving actually sounds pretty hard." We both said "That should be a song!"
