La serie se adentra en el folclore del misterioso ser desde atrás, acordonando su origen. Esta decisión de retomar la historia como una precuela y darle al personaje un antes que lo ubique se convierte en un pilar de la saga que abre vías.
La época y sus posibilidades sientan muy bien a este ente voraz. Tanto que nos ha regalado un personaje inesperadamente peculiar, la Ingrid de una actriz que se prodiga poco pese a contar con una carrera incuestionable (su Victoria Grayson es antológica), Madeleine Stowe.
Bienvenidos a Derry quiere ser una de las series del año sin renunciar a nada, público y premios, para lo cual saca las armas de la HBO... que usa regular. En el apartado técnico no hay queja, ahora bien, la narrativa spielbergiana de niñes en bici explotada en las películas ya aburre. Hay que decidir si se hace una obra familiar o te cagas en el espectador medio y vas adelante con todo. Madurar o no madurar. Y Derry lo evita.
El terror, por otro lado, escasea, no así los sustos efectistas, que saben a garrafón. De ahí que los giros de guion que aporta Ingrid se agradezcan tanto; también ese guiñonoguiño a la reciente Sinners en el mejor episodio.
La leyenda, con su toque tribal y racial, revelada del payaso -incluyendo su poder intertemporal, tan jugoso- es suficiente para anclarle y tomarle en serio, si bien la dinámica para "acabar" con él la hemos visto muchas veces. Y entrecomillo porque el verdadero mal es de aquí, va uniformado y solo por eso cree que sus actos son legítimos.

The United States’ intention to withdraw from a host of UN bodies announced this week targets programmes and initiatives focusing on a wide range of crucial areas, including the climate crisis, trade, gender and development.
When UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric briefed correspondents in New York on Thursday following the release of the White House Memorandum, he insisted that the Organization will continue to carry out its mandates from Member States “with determination.”
Wednesday’s memorandum states that the US administration is “ceasing participation in or funding to those entities to the extent permitted by law.”
Several of the bodies listed in the memo are funded principally or partially by the regular UN budget, implying that voluntary funding will be impacted, although central funding will continue.
However, the White House notes that its funding review of international organisations “remains ongoing,” and it is currently unclear what the impact of the announcement will be.
Here’s a breakdown of the 31 UN entities mentioned in the memorandum, and how they are making a positive difference to people, communities and nations, worldwide.
African affairs
- Office of the Special Adviser on Africa: Provides informed advice on the continent, ensures UN actions in the continent are coherent and aligned with people’s needs
- Permanent Forum on People of African Descent: Aims to improve safety, quality of life and development of people of African descent, provides advice to the UN Human Rights Council
Climate and Environment
- UN Collaborative Programme on Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation in Developing Countries (UN-REDD): Provides technical assistance, policy guidance and financing for sustainable forest management
- UN Energy; Coordinates the work of 30 UN agencies and international organisations to promote access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all
- UN Framework Convention on Climate Change; The UNFCCC, which organises the climate COPs or summits, is central to enabling international cooperation and ensuring transparency and accountability in tackling climate change
- UN Oceans; Strengthens UN collaboration on ocean issues such as the protection of marine ecosystems, promotion of sustainable ocean use and advancing global ocean governance

Je m'inquiétais de l'état du jardin après les retombées de l'incendie.
Je craignais qu'il soit bien pourri et de ne pas pouvoir faire de cultures cette année, même si j'en fais peu. 🫣
Mais c'est pas l'axe où il y a eu des retombées.
Ailleurs, le visible c'est principalement du charbon de bois, du papier calciné, des flocons de "ouate" d'isolation, et je suppose des fragments de panneaux solaires.J'ai finalement pas recolté beaucoup de ch'ni !
