Finally added some #neocaridina #shrimp to my new 5 gallon #aquarium. It's been cycling for six weeks, water parameters have looked good for a couple weeks, it's about time 🙂 🦐
The hardest part of this hobby as someone with #ADHD is waiting to add things to the tank.

If you're willing to do a tiny bit of soldering, you can add an ESP8266 or #esp32 to an Ikea #vindriktning
There are several howtos online, here's mine: https://unixorn.github.io/post/add-smarts-to-ikea-vindriktning-air-sensors/
It's an easy mod, you only need to connect three wires between the ESP and the Vindriktning motherboard. I hadn't soldered anything in 15 years and I did it in about 10 minutes - part of why it took that long was me taking pictures for the blog post.

I have a couple I modded with #Tasmota on, and since I had one in my parts bin, one has a BME688 I put in while I had the #vindriktning opened up.I wrote it up at https://unixorn.github.io/post/add-smarts-to-ikea-vindriktning-air-sensors/ but the hardest part was not stripping the screws in the plastic case.
Works great with #HomeAssistant and the tasmota integration.
I like the display on the vindstryka but I don't need another air sensor. Using them to house and power an ESP32 with #ESPresence is appealing though.

@mark @unixorn @zigbee2mqtt @homeassistant @zwave-js-ui I might have the same issue : after some time, I can't control the devices from #homeassistant neither from #zigbee2mqtt UI. I have 5 devices connected to #conbeeII . I updated its firmware last weekend and changed the wifi channel to decrease the interference with the one used by #zigbee. its working since but I'm still under the 2 weeks.
