I’m at sprints until 3:00 or so. If you want to talk open source contribution quality, django deployment, or chess, come say hi!
I’m in the back of the main ballroom. Look for the chess pieces!

Heading to the airport to go home from an amazing #PyConUS ! I saw old friends, met some of you for the first time, and made a bunch of new friends. I learned a ton and made my first CPython contribution. It was a great time!
Thank you @pycon @ThePSF @elthenerd @jonafato and to everyone else involved!
Can't wait till next year!!! -
Back home today from #PyConUS 🇺🇸
First job is to give my 9 year old the stickers I collected throughout the conference.
I love collecting them for her and she loves putting them into her notebooks. It’s a tradition now and I love this little bit of time we spend together with our stickers!
What’s your favourite post conference tradition?

What an amazing #PyConUS experience. Thank you for inviting me to keynote and for always being the supportive, encouraging, and welcoming community I know you all to be. I might write more soon but for now, until next time 🫶

I'm sprinting with @beeware again. Building mobile applications with #python is crazy cool!

Just arrived back home after a long and tiring trip ✈️
But it was absolutely worth it. PyCon US 2026 was an intense week full of talks, keynotes, hallway track conversations, and so many encounters with people from the community.
As always, the best part of conferences for me is the people and the chance to create more connections around open source and Python.
Thanks everyone 💚
Hope to see some of you at PyCon Italia 🙂 -

The last day of #PyConUS and I can't attend the sprint because I must head home! It was wonderful seeing so many of you! Next year in Long Beach!

En route via:
🏨 Long Beach 🚕 ➡️ Los Angeles, CA (LAX) ✈️ ➡️ Kansas City, MO (MCI) 🚙 ➡️ Lawrence, KS 🏠️ from #PyConUS 🐍 🎤 🇺🇸
Great PyCon US. Even six days isn't enough to see and talk to everyone, but I certainly tried.
Thank you @elthenerd @jonafato and a ton of @ThePSF staff, organizers, and volunteers.

home from LA (for #PyConUS) and also Vancouver again). glad Delta has a non-stop from LAX->MEM but it would sure be nice if it were a bit earlier in the day. and of course the first thing I did.. was dump my LA water out and replace it with Memphis water. so much better. oh man.
(for the record: Vancouver water is also quite good! LA's sucks.)

So happy to see my friends reporting that they got PRs merged to CPython today at the sprint. Congratulations!!
Thanks to the core devs onsite who were helping the new contributors land their PRs.
My own sprint was more in the form of Self-care and human-ing than PRs. I went back to the urgent care clinic, got an injection for my chronic pain so now I don't have to tough it out anymore.

Thank you #PyConUS for the wonderful first-time experience! I had a ton of fun and enjoyed getting to know so many new people. It's great having a bunch of faces to put to names. And I appreciate everyone's tolerance of my introducing myself with "hi I'm Tim, I follow you on the internet" 😁
And shout out to all the organizers and staff who put on the event! I'm grateful for everything you did to give us the space to collaborate effectively 🥰

Packing it in. If I'm up early enough maybe I can say more goodbyes in the AM, but otherwise this is it for me and #PyConUS 🥹
