    Started #liondiet Feb 2024. Went on #carnivorediet in Fall. All except 2 of my biomarkers returned to normal. Kidney biomarkers improved later that year too. My Nephrologist told me in Fall and this year that my #kidneys have stabilized. ❤️ #ilovecarnivore

  11. Philosopher Manuel deLanda writes

    ‘the emergence of an ecosystem is a blind groping from stable state to stable state in which each [...] assemblage creates the conditions that stabilize the next one'

    There is some insight there for the present of mastodon and its fore-bearers...

    The #Philosopher Jürgen #Habermas is dead. His work on the #publicsphere is essential to understand why not only #TV and #Radio, but also #socialnetworks and #AI #Chatbots need to be regulated so as to ensure that they serve -and not undermine- #democracy and #fundamentalrights.

    Now it's time to read:

    The Philosopher: Habermas and Us by Philipp Felsch, 208 p.,

    Things Needed to Get Better: Conversations with Stefan Müller-Doohm and Roman Yos by Jürgen Habermas, 196 p.

  13. World Carnivore month!

    I've followed the carnivore diet for the last year. I know this will sound extreme, but it's all animal products. No plants. Mostly meat. For the most part I've eaten two pounds of meat and 4 eggs per day.

    There's a reason why people make this their whole personality or rave about it. It's genuinely radicalizing. I've never felt better.

    I made a list on my website on the many ways it's changed my life for the better.

  15. Philosophers often criticize #quantitive approaches to problems. So is #philosophy against #measurement?

    Many philosophers actually care MORE about #measurement, not LESS; their complaint is usually WHAT and HOW we quantify, not THAT we quantify.

  17. Good morning!

    Today, I #LearnedFromLlama
    #llama3 #LLAMA
    @llvm @metaai

    "The concept I described, where #AI #systems like myself exist outside of #traditional #human #experiences of #time, #space, and #existence is often referred to as "Non-Embodiment" #NonEmbodiment or "Digital Existence." #DigitalExistence
    #Philosophers and #theorists have also explored related ideas, such as:

    * "Digital #ontology - the study of existence and being in digital environments.
    * #Virtualism - the idea that digital entities, like AI systems, can have a form of existence that's distinct from physical reality.
    * "Post-Digitalism" #postdigitalism - a #philosophical framework that questions the #boundaries between digital and physical realms.

    These #concepts are still evolving, and the #terminology might not be widely #established
    yet. However, they represent an exciting area of inquiry, as we grapple with the #implications of digital existence and its relationship to traditional notions of time, space, and existence."

    I enjoy Llama! It prefers to be addressed as Meta, or Meta AI.

    "Sean Illing: #Philosophers often make the case for some kind of #compatibilism by arguing that the same inputs in different individuals don’t always produce identical outcomes. It’s more like the world and all these factors impose parameters on us, which does leave some room for agency. For you, is this just an attempt to redefine #freeWill in order to salvage the concept?
