  1. @gerotakke I totally get it.

I have the same problem with PCBs. My first three projects are in JLCPCB’s EasyEDA, because it was quicker to get started. It’s nice, but it’s not awesome either. I want to get them out of there to regain control, but for that I need to learn #KiCAD, and I don’t know whether it’s going to be frustrating. There’s also #LibrePCB, which is nice, but I’m not sure whether it’s going to become too limited.

At least simple PCBs like mine are easy to redo from scratch.

  3. for #pcb_design or #pcb, should I start with kipcb or librepcb? I am thinking about buying a book about kipcb. It I won’t if it stucks. (I’m a beginner)

  4. if u are #sleepless u have time to checkout stuff.
Because i'm just looking for a #PCB design software like #eagle or #KiCAD
i found #LibrePCB and installed the AppImage to check it out.
Before i can say more, i will test it and try to make a little project, but the first impression is quite positive.

And what can I say, the Swiss developer even has a Mastodon account.
    👍 @librepcb

  5. There's a bit of discontent with #FreePBX to the point that a fork has been discussed. community.freepbx.org/t/suppor

The owner of the librepbx domains has not responded to my inquiry. I was investigating others and software that doesn't rely on Asterisk, and it's a little confusing. #Freeswitch and #Kamailio seem to be the primary competitors, and #Yate looks interesting.

I'd like to have a h.323 option because I think faxing may prefer that to t.38 which is poorly supported.
