Looking now at some posit github repo (went into a rabbit holes after the post on their open source web site). It is interesting that, for example https://github.com/posit-dev/querychat, is packages in different languages (#Rstats, Python), a bit of javascript for the website and a makefile to rule them all (+claude I guess).
I did not notice that!

Cool (the site def. look nice)! I am out of the loop but is it a way for @Posit to reorganize/present their activities and the tools they contribute (some are also products) in a more focus way?

Everyone: how are you so good at gardening!!
me silently: well you can only see plants that did grow, not all of our failures

Still thinking of Hadley AI newsletter and I think the issue with git is more on culture of collaboration and understanding of file structure/project organization. Yes git can be complicated but I would put the other issues first on the hierarchy of priorities.

Hadley restarting a news letter in a controversial platform on a controversial subject!
(still super glad he does it!)

bad practice of the day (that I will do and do not care much): formatting columns names in data base to "looks good" in App.
(better version would be to map columns names to their text representation, that can be done laterzzzz!)

In the spirit of moving stuff from GH and simply do a better archiving should we move CATMOG (https://github.com/qmrg/CATMOG) to Zenodo?
What should be the license?
Pinging some #geo quant' @geospacedman @ianturton
