I really do wonder how many people will die before governments around the world get serious about ending the use of fossil fuels. We are now at the point where only very quick and immediate shutting down of the fossil fuel industry can reasonably save us from an absolutely horrific future.

There is blame to lay: it is at the feet of the fossil fuel industry.
To every person in Canada, including oil industry workers:
We must transition people out of this destructive work at a wartime pace. We can do it, we just have to want to help each other end fossil fuels as soon as possible.

12-17% of crude oil and natural gas is used for “non-energy” process. (ie. not for burning directly). The other 88-83% is burned. #CO2
