@wraptile I switched to #nushell as my default a while ago and it’s been great. Occasionally I need to flip to a different shell for some tasks, but rarely.
Set up with #StarshipRS #zoxide #broot and a few other things and it’s even better

@aktivismoEstasMiaLuo @Wraptile #QuoraFail yes indeed. Sometimes I find a site or two blocking the archival of their site.
I mean its bad for them, less publicity, so that Quora does this might mean they are #WelcomingDefeat or they have already #acknowledged their defeat internally and just waiting for the site to get less and less traffic over time.
Well blocking #Tor is 'immature'. #WikimediaProjects all allow Tor, though they never like people editing with any proxy.

Haven't seen a podcast decline as much as Freakonomics. From highlighting importat behavior economics to platforming a medical "professional" saying "trump derangement syndrome is real" without any pushback at all.
The other recent episodes were series on a single christian song and how horses are being traded by billionaires. Maybe it's a good time to shut freakonomics down 😬

@FediTips I think main issue is that many Mastodon front ends suck at representing hashtags - why are they so #highlighted?
It should be treated as a muted hyperlink but usually it's underlined and super high contrasted that it sticks out like a sore thumb.

#predictiveProcessing is a such a satisfying #neurological theory for how our brains work and my latest obsession.
Basically, our brain model lives in the future and sends predictions to our sensory organs and receive corrections instead of raw sensory data.
This explains why surprises are so satisfying (model gets to train itself) and exhausting (it takes energy to train).
Also maybe we can steer our model conciously to have a healthier #spiritual lives.
#optimism suddenly makes more sense.
