update (5/8/26): i’ve decided to count it towards my goal of “50 shinies in one year.”

beat volo and giratina yesterday.
i don’t think it was even that hard.
my level ~80 alpha togekiss put in most of the work.
one step closer to my end goal: getting an arceus into my scarlet save.
and pro tip: when volo has only one pokémon left, use a max revive on all of your fallen teammates.
and if you don’t have enough max revives…
…make/buy them beforehand.

now, before you guys say anything, i have a confession to make…
…i have been playing through violet.
i bought it back in october of last year.
this is because of two reasons.
1) i want the future paradox pokémon (specifically iron valiant), because 2) i have no friends in real life that play pokémon.
but i do have the power of pokémon home.
and i will be using it to send this shiny to scarlet.
