Updated my #homelab to #k3s 1.35, deployed #vaultwarden, #pihole with #unbound and #forgejo with #woodpecker. All the web guis have #letsencryt certificates. Storage redundancy is achieved by #longhorn which maintains redundant copies of pvcs across the nodes. The nodes are vms controlled by #incus, so that I can shut down the whole k8s thingy with a simple incus stop command when I’m done playing.
k3s is really nice and easy to deploy and well documented, getting things to run in k8s though is mainly pasting yaml from the internet and hoping for the best. -

Do someone know why exactly do #bitwarden is forcing https on self-hosted servers? I have #vaultwarden behind #headscale already, and all the bitwarden clients are refusing to work (unless I stop them from updating). Seems like a dick move. #askfedi

Heh, my personal infrastructure has grown yet again... Caddy as webserver (with HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3), this GoToSocial instance, VaultWarden, Stalwart for mail, calendar and contacts and now eJabberd for instant messaging. GoToSocial, Stalwart and eJabberd all are tied into Postgresql for their databases. All nicely running on a Hetzner CCX13 instance with room to spare. My first purchase of #1Password was 2008-11-15. My last purchase was 1Pv7 2018-06-08. In that time I paid them $275.33 as I paid for each new upgrade. v7 allowed me to have local vaults and pay once. I was their customer to lose but when they decided that 1Pv8 was going to be cloud only and subscription only, they lost me.
The self-hosted #Bitwarden / #Vaultwarden transition was not too painful but I do miss the much more sophisticated 1P UI (at least until v7. I have no experience with v8).

My homeserver went silent. DNS died. Router failover was useless as always — so I fixed it properly. keepalived floating IP, both AdGuards in parity, warm standby backups for Vaultwarden and Gitea. Also accidentally learned a lot about headless XRDP the hard way — LXQt, TigerVNC, rage quitting, and eventually XRDP and XFCE just working. Part 16!

Wir haben einen #openLDAP Server für die Verwaltung der Nutzer:innen, #Vaultwarden für Credentials, #mailcow für Kalender/Mail sowie #Nextcloud für Filestorage eingerichtet. Office kann jeder MA nehmen was er will solang es keine MS Lizenz benötigt. 🙂
Als Mailclient haben wir uns für #emClient entschieden, für den gibt es aktuell leider keine Version für Linux, ich hoffe das ändert sich irgendwann.
Teams war nie in Verwendung, wir nutzen oldschool mail. :-)

Kein Big Tech, keine Abos bis auf SimpleLogin und meine Daten gehören mir. Stack: Docker, Postfix/Dovecot/SL/ScaleWay TEM, PostgreSQL, Nextcloud, Vaultwarden, Syncthing, Traefik. Vollautomatisches Failover mit Split-Brain-Schutz inklusive. 😄🏠🔒

La instalación de Pangolin en #VPS ha sido muy fácil, pero no ha sido trivial la migración de los subdominios, aunque una vez entendida la mecánica y un poco de paciencia a la hora de que se refresquen los DNS, he podido hacer que todo funcionara (#SearXNG, #WordPress, #Mastodon, #Matomo, #Nextcloud, #Wikijs, #Vaultwarden, #Excalidraw, #DrawIO, #Umami y #Mealie).
