@tychi Yes - I think the shortest path there is to have it handled entirely by the person, with no code running on the server for the algorithm. So at least how i'm thinking about it it would be entirely compatible with lists as implemented in alternate frontends/mobile apps. That I think would be very complementary to how you're thinking :)

(3/4)…The beauty of DoH over #DoT (#DNSOverTLS) is that DoH sends the request over the standard port 443, not DoT's unique 853, making it indistinguishable from most other secure traffic and thus uncensorable. It can easily be sent over #Tor, thus #privateTrustlessDoH!Horray.
When it comes to centralised data collection, we find the central takeover of DNS as concerning as the central takeover of search.

(2/4)… It can be switched off so #DNS is handled at the OS-level. As such, we are calling for a #trustless #DoH, which involves using lists of independent #resolvers (there's a list at the github/curl page). A few arbitrary resolvers would be chosen for each DNS request, with the returned values cross-checked. If there's a discrepancy a new request is made with a several resolvers. Moin Moin & Servus,
endlich Wochenende. Diese Woche war kurz, aber sehr heftig mit marodierenden Maturanden und kreischenden Kindern. Heute habe ich dann länger geschlafen und nun gönne ich mir ein schönes Frühstück mit köstlichem #tchibo African Blue #kaffee und einer Schinken-Käse-Stulle. Dekadenz pur. Heute wird massiv gechillt, entspannt. Ein Füße-hoch-Tag. Muss auch mal sein.
