Walked out of the house about 8:30 today to go on a bagel run. Noticed our neighbor's tree had turned, seemingly overnight. Some fleeting nice light lit it for a moment. Had to take a snap.

#BensChiliBowl A Washington DC landmark. Photo is from March of 2012 when i was visiting one of the kid’s. He said we had to go here. I don't remember all the history he was telling me but I do remember having delicious chili dogs.

From Sept 2021, Union Pacific's #X4014 #BigBoy steam engine coming into Greeley Colorado as part of a tour of middle America.
I followed it across part of Colorado over two days. Judge me as you will, I was not alone.
I believe this is the largest steam engine in the US. Was built in the 1940’s to haul loads over the rockies more efficiently.#photography #BlackAndWhite #BWPhotography #b&w #steamlocomotive #railroads #trains #railway_photography

Panorama Point in #GoldenGateCanyonStatePark Elev = 9360 feet 2853 meters. Looking west across a valley to the eastern side of the Rockies. elevation of those are between 11 and 14,000 feet It was also almost 20 degrees F cooler than down in Denver.

I also briefly saw a moose as I walked back to the car. Had just sat in the car seat and it walked out of the brush stopped on the dirt road looked around and moved on. Way to quick to get a photo. -

Spent some time at Bill's Backyard Classics car museum in Amarillo Texas. Tons of cars packed tight together. Hard to get a whole car shot. Spent most of the time getting detail shots.
Lots of classic cars and many had extensive engine mods. -
Fort Mcallister State Park in Richmond Hill GA just outside of Savannah.
Civil War era fort on the Ogeechee river.
It's a very quiet park to wander through. This is one of the open gun placements protecting the river.
Was happy to catch the pleasure boat just in the canon sights. ( for fun only )
