Seriously #Samsung, I put an SD card in my kids tablet so it can hold more games. Turns out kids accounts don't let you use the card! What the fuck Samsung! Literally no reason to do that.

@ryan Check out #Ventoy I use it quite often and have been very happy. Once setup you can just drop ISOs onto your thumb drive and they will boot. Works great.

Took my boy to the store today, he was very hyper and couldn't stop jumping around. While waiting in line at the pharmacy I told him to go down the automotive aisle and look for brake fluid. Kept him busy for 4 or 5 minutes before he found an employee to ask for help. Employee told him there is no such thing as blinker fluid... well there goes my fun screwing with him for the next decade.

I'm still worried about Debian's plan to move /tmp to tmpfs and auto cleaning it every so often. There are too many things stored in /tmp like SSH connections and tmux sessions. I know there is a way to stop the cleanup, but having to remember to do this on every Debian machine is going to be troubling.

Does anyone know if it is possible to set the WORKGROUP on Windows systems using ISC-DHCPD on a Linux server? Windows network sharing sucks when everyone is on a different WORKGROUP and I'm having a hard time finding anything.

Has anyone ever used #wpscan against a multi-site #wordpress setup and gotten actual results from it? I'm working on a script that will tell me if any plugins are out of date and while wpscan works great on most of the sites I have to monitor, it doesn't seem to work at all on the one multi-site I have to scan.

Fuck #youtube! I was having a nice New Year's celebration with my family and we pulled up a video so we could watch a countdown. As usual, there were some ads before the video started to play. No big deal. Then, there we are, less than a minute to midnight, another ad! Unskippable! I get that they need to show ads to fund the cost of all these videos, but fucking hell ads in the middle of videos? I never see this on my computer thanks to adblock. Next time I will use a computer.

I finally got around to upgrade my Nagios Core instance to the latest release (v4.5.5)and they got rid of the new network map! I'm sad to see it go, it was a really nice replacement to their legacy maps.
