Free software developers: if need to set up a public git repository, from which anyone can clone (git clone <url>) your repo, you don't need Github or any other similar websites. All you need is a hosting service (it can be a low cost shared hosting service) which can execute git. Here is how:

The Japanese tv drama, Dr. Coto's Clinic, set in a village on a remote Japanese island, reminds me of the Indian tv show, Malgudi Days, set in a small town in South India. While Dr. Coto's Clinic is set in contemporary times, Malgudi Days, based on a collection of short stories by R. K. Narayan, is set in colonial time of pre-1940s. Yet, both shows have the same feel to me.

The rising popularity of Asian dramas with global audiences, especially Korean dramas with American audiences, is a phenomenon I'm just becoming aware of. I've been enjoying Japanese and Korean dramas lately (currently watching "Japan Sinks: People of Hope").

A word of caution though: The Vivaldi browser license isn't clear. It seems to say parts of the browser are under different open source licenses but then refers to third party components which may not be open source?
Is someone out there clear on the license for the Vivaldi browser?

Tested the ability to record and play back Midi data from/to my Keyboard using the arecordmidi and aplaymidi commands. These work! The Keyboard is connected to the computer via a USB cable (+ 8ft USB extender cable). Next, I need to integrate Midi recording and playback into my script, along with the existing ADC/DAC and sound card LineIn/LineOut options.

It's good to see that HP has released some linux software for BIOS updates of their business desktops and laptops, for models since around 2017. That's a step forward. Now, I'd like to see them release linux software for BIOS updates of their consumer desktops and laptops.

Behind the old Shiva temple, I followed a foot path to the river, where this boat landed, waiting to take customers ... where? It doesn't matter. I wanted to get on and see where it would take me.

"Days passed. For the evil that was growing in the new machines, each hour was longer than all the time before. Now the newborn was less than an hour from its great flowering ... The local humans could be dispensed with soon."
