Hopefully the last day staying at a hotel while the decorators finish their job. They were moving furniture back last night. Hotel has been good though apart from the cheapo toilet roll!

I still need to rethink my web host.
Siteground is really very good but too expensive and no data centre in Canada. They also use Google Cloud which makes me very uncomfortable.
The WordPress theme I use is resource intensive so I may need to rethink that too.

Surrey City Council want to declare a federal state of emergency regarding the level of extortion related crimes in the area.

There is something in the news every day related to local extortion cases in Surrey, British Columbia. The mayor has asked for a helicopter to help in the fight of these criminals.
I'm not a subject matter expert in this field to comment but certainly something needs to be done.

Senior centres here in #SurreyBC have decent coffee from early morning, 55+. Don’t go to chain coffee shops when you can support and meet your local community.

Going through the @eff tips on Opt-Out October I got Spokeo to delete my information.
I noticed with Spokeo:
1) The information is 7 years out of date
2) The information on everyone's profile is extremely misleading suggesting that, for example, the person may have a criminal record when they don't - its just click-bait to get you to pay to view.
Taking the information down was immediate so that is one positive.

People or companies are a reflection of those they align with. If you are a company that aligns with a convicted felon, sexual predator and alleged pedophile this is a risk to your reputation.
Thankfully, I have not had the displeasure of using any salesforce software.

Upminster Station, near to where I used to live, won an award in the Transport for London gardening competition.
Hopefully this is inspiration to make more areas of stations look more green.
