@[email protected] @thelegendlinux And I think it's a good thing #doomemacs works so well without any work. I wouldn't have become an #emacs user without the preconfigured #evilmode setup in #spacemacs. I would have fixed my dll-hell broken vim installation instead. Maybe I'll create my own config from scratch in time, but I really like that someone had given me sensible defaults and chosen nice packages to get me started.

I don't think that #JohnnyDecimal (or similar like #DeweyDecimal) are a good idea for digital assets. https://karl-voit.at/2020/01/25/avoid-complex-folder-hierarchies/

@pls @rcarmo It's proprietary though...
I used InoReader for a while, it also has features like generating #RSS feeds by parsing websites and fetching the full content, even bypassing many paywalls.
But I've since migrated to a self-hosted #TinyTinyRSS and #rssbridge, and I like that setup much more tbh. I've even contributed a few bridges myself and made a plugin for #elfeed integration (which was the primary motive).

@true_mxp I just switched to #OfflineIMAP for use with #DavMail.
But my problem was that my Exchange instance somehow assigned duplicate UIDs to different emails in different folders, so #mbsync just couldn't download a large part of my mail. And OffineIMAP had some way to handle that more gracefully.

My browser usage on #guix:
- #firefox with Tridactyl - that is what I use 90% of the time
- Ungoogled #chromium (Guix repos edition) - for web dev without plugin interference + debugging node.js
- Ungoogled #chromuim (flatpak edition) - the only place where Zoom screen sharing works properly
- Microsoft Edge - the only place where Google Meet screen sharing works properly(it's not that Guix is the problem, just thought it's funny)
