  1. New #wine arrivals at home: 6 Brazilian sparklings! #Brazilianwine is tricky to get your hands on in Europe, but astonishingly there is a company in the UK called #GoBrazil who import the stuff.

With thanks to @thegrapesunwrapped for putting me onto these!

They are made by the winery founded by Mario Geisse, the Chilean oenologist, who moved to Brazil in 1976 to run the #Chandon concern of Moët & Chandon before establishing his own winery in #PintoBandeira, Rio Grande do Sul 💕

  3. @micchega I once acquired two bottles of #Sassicaia… Kept them in a dedicated climate-controlled warehouse etc. until I took them out and then… BOTH were corked 😭 💔

  6. So I’m spending the winter in the UK, which has the very great benefit of Sunday lunch. And incidentally also a little #Gigondas.

However! Cue the emergency Waitrose dash this morning for #sherry !

Honestly, sherry is not my specialty, and I only know what the WSET 3 taught about it a decade ago.

Thus, please comment any favourites of yours, of any kind, that I might explore them over the #Christmas period ❤️🎄 I am in the mood.

    Thanks in advance 😊

  7. Sunday aperitif and enjoying the first of the bottles of #Limoux from Maison Antech that I packed from #Narbonne 💕

This is the #blanquette Grande Réserve 2019. It gets a well-deserved star in the Hachette guide 2022, and is certainly one of the richest and longest-in-the-mouth I’ve had. Just an excellent #wine.
