I genuinely believe that sexual repression is sexual abuse, and that while there are absolutely levels, you don't have to be abused by a priest or pastor physically to have been abused sexually in Jesus' name. What the Christian Church teaches people about women is sexual abuse. What it teaches about sex is sexual abuse. The shame and misunderstanding they perpetuate is sexual abuse en masse. And it's step one to physically sexually abusing people.

Forget all of the actual horrible shit--like voting in a fascist with no regard for what it would do to women. Everyone can shrug off and justify a vote in a corrupted system.
But men sought out forums for how to trap women into sex, were told the best way to do it was to insult women to their faces over and over again, and now are surprised and resentful they are lonely and that we don't want to fucking marry them. And it took like fifteen years of it being pervasive for us to say fuck off.
