@jeffowski Interesting thing I learned in Stop the Bleed class - a properly applied tourniquet is TIGHT. It will HURT. It will hurt so much that if the person you applied it to is still conscious, they will be begging you to take the tourniquet off. Don't take it off. Another thing I learned in the class is that it's ok to leave the tourniquet on for hours. It's fine. Tourniquets do not cause amputations. #StopTheBleed #FirstAid

I kept a list of items that I stopped myself from buying because of the challenge, and there are over 12 things, most of which sound kind of dumb. I'm still interested in only 2 of them. Other than that, I bought 6 items and surprised myself with the justifications I made, like "I have to get something at Kohl's because my Kohl's cash expires January 31" It was still a useful experience and I plan on trying this again in the future. -

I hate to admit I bought something during my January #NoBuy #challenge I needed new filters for the dustbuster and I had not bought them before my challenge started in January. I will console myself by remembering that they last a pretty long time and I can't make them myself.

Time to put handguards on for the winter. These are the Barkbusters Storm with bar end mount, which are supposed to be universal, or at least they fit on a 2020 Zero SR. @bigMouthCommie There are dozens of us! I've been drinking #Huel since 2019. Banana is my favorite flavor shake and mushroom pasta is my favorite hot and savory meal.
I've often wished that there was something like cat food for humans: something nutritionally complete you can pour out of a bag or can and eat. Huel comes pretty close to my dream.
