Fanny Packs for Care is a fund raising project between Alysia Myette Designs and Maggie's Toronto.
Maggie's provides supports and resources for underhoused and homeless fem identifying people and sex workers.
For each donation of 30$ a fanny pack will be made for a community member involved with Maggie's that includes essential care items (snacks, self care, and survival items). All funds goes towards materials and items provided.

Vor 50 Jahren: "So ein Tag, so wunderschön wie heute!"
Am Donnerstag, den 27. Februar 1975 entführt ein Kommando der Bewegung 2. Juni mitten im Westberliner #Wahlkampf, den Spitzenkandidaten der #CDU, Peter #Lorenz, der die folgenden fünfeinhalb Tage im „#Volksgefängnis“ verbringt. Im Austausch mit Lorenz gelingt es, fünf Inhaftierte verschiedener westdeutscher #Guerilla-Gruppen, sowie zwei nach dem Tod von Holger #Meins inhaftierte #Demonstranten, zu befreien. Die erste und einzige erfolgreiche Entführung eines Politikers in der #BRD, die die #Freilassung von gefangenen Genoss:innen ermöglichte.
Die #Entführer verlangten die Freilassung und Ausreise der sechs inhaftierten #Gesinnungsgenossen Horst #Mahler (der einen Austausch ablehnte) Ingrid #Siepmann, Rolf #Heißler, Rolf #Pohle, Gabriele #Kröcher-#Tiedemann und Verena #Becker.
Die fünf wurden am 3. März 1975 in den #Südjemen ausgeflogen.
