  1. Picked up in the last and running so far without issues on . Finished the tutorial and just starting out in Limgrave. Prepared to die a lot, but a beautiful open world.

  2. Really enjoying learning with . I originally went through DuoLingo, but that only exposed me to about 4,500 words, so CM seems like a great vocabulary tool with 20,000 words learned in context (sentences) in order by most used.

  7. 1. Nautilus: If I search, it locks up at the first letter typed and have to force quit.
This was a problem with and doing a reset of it solved it.
2. Gnome extensions: After reboot, and , among others, aren’t working. I have to disable user extensions and then re-enable to get them to work.
More research determined it was just a problem. In the Desktop -> Dock Settings, I disabled the “dock” to resolve it.

  8. Now I have two “weirdness” issues:
    1. Nautilus: If I search, it locks up at the first letter typed and have to force quit.
    2. Gnome extensions: After reboot, and , among others, aren’t working. I have to disable user extensions and then re-enable to get them to work.

Neither of these were problems on my first reinstall, so not sure what’s going on…

  9. And, I really wish makers would include standard slots/screws for wiring instead of hard-wired pigtails. These smart switch cases are already large enough without requiring (in the Kasa case) 4 additional wire nuts and trying to fit it all back into the switch box. :headdesk:

  10. Anyone with service know how to disable reminders to extend your subscription?

I have two of these today so far. Tap just takes you to the phone app with the number filled in.

In the Jeep, every drive, I get a similar prompt that only has the option to close the message or to “remind me later” which causes the prompt to pop back up in a minute or so.

The “free trial” period is over and I don’t want the connected services, but it’s not obvious how to make these messages stop.

  11. Pop! OS Upgrade from 20.04 to 22.04?

Anyone perform this upgrade? Interested in migrating from previous LTS to new one, but have heard varying levels of success.

Debating getting a new drive for a clean install versus an upgrade of existing setup for safeties sake. Just wondering how safe the upgrade is now that 22.04 has been out for awhile.
