Today my son was feeling poorly and stayed home from school. Promptly at 3:30 the automated system called me to let me know that he was marked absent for the 1, 2, 6 and 7th periods. I have three game related projects brewing. Two of them are game aids, a random deck builder for #TantoCuore and an online repository for SolForge. If I can get it there’s a web game I’ve been building for social climbing in the renaissance that I’d like to get a beta out for.

This has been an unexpectedly busy period for me. I’m prepping to go to Montana for two weeks over Christmas, I’m trying desperately to catch up on advent of code and all of a sudden every project I’ve had in the pipes at work has suddenly become a thing that needs to be done. On the home front my 13 yr old has suddenly decided that he’s going to embrace being a teenage to a degree I hadn’t expected. Hasn’t left me with much time anywhere else.
