I've spent a fair amount of time playing #irishtrad over the years and often find I like to write down a new piece or modify one I'm learning. For doing this on the computer I've used lots of programs over the years but I keep coming back to simple plain text #abcnotation and the editor I use the most is available free online. Ugh. My ISP just announced that they were "upgrading" and that would require me to get a new router. And the new router is Amazon's EERO and it requires that I download an app and create an Amazon account to set it up. And if I don't then they turn off the internet next week.
So, what are the alternatives for routers? I otherwise like my ISP and I'm guessing another one would have the same situation.
Their tech support was a little helpful and said "Some other alternatives for routers that are locally managed Asus, TP-Link, or Ubiquiti" but I'm not sure what the pros and cons of those are.
Am I right to be paranoid about getting Amazon involved in all my network traffic?

I am looking into possible alternatives to Netlify and saw Grebedoc. That looks interesting, but the one single thing I do with Netlify beyond hosting static pages is having a contact form with a honeypot. It is really simple: "fill out these fields and it will send me an email".
Does anyone have any suggestions or am I locked into Netlify?

I did an update to https://editor.drawthedots.com to add syntax highlighting to the textarea. It is kind of scary since there are so many moving parts but it seems to work for me so far. I made it opt-in (you have to click "options" and a checkbox).

Because of the generic nature of the terms, I'm having trouble searching for something that should have a page in the Nuxt docs somewhere:
I want to use an existing Web Component (developed by a third party) in a Nuxt app. It is having trouble with the SSR and I can't figure out how to work around it so that the web component is named in the template area but is only initialized in the browser.
Or, alternately, what I can tell the developer to do differently to make it work. It says it can't find "HTMLElement".

During the event, screaming local mobs blocked the entrance to the concert area and harassed concertgoers. The veterans’ groups paraded along the highway, automobile horns blared and bands played. Attackers screamed: “We’re Hitler’s boys — here to finish his job.”
