@pafurijaz the video received a lot of negative comments before it even premiered. The thumbnail gave it away. It's likely they pulled the video and reuploaded it to hide these comments. One of the many fishy things happening during the contest and now overshadowing the work of so many talented artists and the legacy of #TDSOTM

@pafurijaz That video is not about the costs of an open source program (and they have expenses). On the first 45 seconds shows what a rip-off is #Cinema4D and why everyone should stay away from #Maxon. Including #ZBrush.
At one point I did that with #LightWave (up to 2015) and #Modo (9.0). And I deeply regret it. #Newtek and #TheFoundry another couple of money grabbers.
At least I never had the need to use #Autodesk products. Not even pirated ones.
Is a clear example that the #capitalist #model (pun intended) is a complete failure.

@pafurijaz Use an LTS version for stuff you need to keep and work on, Use 4.0 for the new features. It's better to make a cut and move on to new technology than to be stuck with it for more decades. :) (like e.g. Microsoft where you can still see Windows 2000 peek through at times) ;)

Io da un punto di vista #tecnico vedo che #Snap è un qualcosa che cerca di risolvere un problema che esiste, e per certi versi lo fa meglio di #flatpak IMHO (non sempre). Accanirsi contro #Canonical per partito preso è sbagliato. Ovviamente quando la community percepisce dei "tradimenti" partono le rappresaglie e le guerre di religione, ma io in questo caso farei dei distinguo
