I figured out conditionally adding @octothorpes.bsky.social tags to my 11ty blog posts! I can add an "octothorpes" field followed by a list of tags, and those will appear in the correct HTML, or if I leave out that field, no tags. #11ty #Coding #Programming #WebDev #Blog #IndieWeb #Octothorpes

Just as I've become less shy about using #Hashtags in order to help others discover my posts (and my server), I've become less shy about following hashtags, too.
Maybe this won't always be true, but for today I can follow tags as broad as "Music", "VideoGames", "NYC", or "Boston" and not get washed away with a flood of constant toots the way I might expect elsewhere. Maybe a handful per hour, for each tag.
(Omitting #Octothorpes because this post isn't actually about those topics!)
