Ooh!!! We should set up a dialogue about it on Discord! This has been on my list since I took an interest in Yi Bang Won and his family members and conflicts. I'm currently watching multiple #CurrentlyAiring dramas, as well as Bloody Heart, another historical. I'll gradually fit this one into my schedule.

Ah, thanks for the warning not to investigate #cdrama! My recent trip to Korea really demonstrated how much more language learning I need in order to function on a basic level in the language! Still, I'm super happy that I managed to watch an entire #kdrama without the benefit of English subtitles, #TheTaleOfLadyOk. Also, there were many different times when my very basic Korean came in very handy.

That's cool! I kept wondering how they did that.
I am so disappointed by its rating on MDL - only a 6.6. IMHO, it was so good. I mean hilarious & crazy (mice & fruit flies), but even those bits tied beautifully into the theme, with such deep messages. There's a lot more to it than it seems.

@notthatkaren Camping really is fun! I managed to download Captivating the King on my iPad so I finished that and I watched the #CurrentlyAiring shows when I camped with WiFi as well as at the hostel in Portland.

I was positively surprised by the actress #JeonJongSeo . I didn't know her and she nailed her FL role!
On the other hand #MoonSangMin was a disappointment. He needs to grow as actor and at times I wished the ML role was given to #KimDoWan -

This #kdrama is totally unrealistic when it comes to her illness. She's fine 95% of the time with a few sporadic memory losses and blackouts. Never heard of such a type of terminal disease.
The contrast with how cancer was portrayed for instance on #MarryMyHusband is striking.And their love story is way too fictional. He is a man who doesn't exist in RL and she's a woman who wouldn't deserve him.

It was popular. I haven't watched it yet. #AShopForKillers and #AKillerParadox were both way more action than I typically like but they were both so skillfully done and really unique.

Initially, when I looked at D=, Snowdrop was one of the only k-dramas that they had but they've been adding a lot to their roster over the last few months. Like you say, they're extremely bad at making good recommendations or helping their watchers to find what they want to watch. They're heavy on action/thrillers but they do an excellent job with them. Also, most series have only 10-12 shows so the action moves rapidly.

The 1st 2 episodes have been fantastic! I was worried because Ellen got the 1st 2 dropped at the same time, but I was only seeing 1 - in the U.S. Disney/Hulu is only giving us 1 on Wed & then 1 on Thu!!!

Ooh, compelling is always good! And I love the variety of dramas out there. @whoosh and I started watching #TheImpossibleHeir this week, which is #CurrentlyAiring. I'm so amazed with how much information that #kdrama directors can convey in very short scenes! It's starting out very interesting. Definitely not low-budget but focussed on the bromance between the 2 MLs and their interest in the same FL. A revenge drama. -

The insects reeing in the background are cicadas and they can get insanely loud! I noticed them constantly in #MyIDIsGangnamBeauty
Yes, King Sejong invented the #hangul alphabet. Prior to its introduction in 1433, writing was done in the Chinese style. His lovely statue in Seoul is very eye-catching. The need to learn more culture has driven me to learn a lot of language over the last 6 months. #korean #kdrama #LangaugeLearning -

I definitely loved #TwentyFiveTwentyOne but the OP wants a drama that's "low tension", which is perfectly fair at certain points in one's life. I found #WelcomeToSamdalRi to be very low tension, to the point that I found it somewhat dull in parts. It's not yet finished, but I think that #DoctorSlump is also fairly low tension. Most of the dramas crank our emotions up several notches! #kdrama -
While I agree that it had a good thing going & the makjang ex-fiancee took it off the rails, I'm still loving it.
One more episode to wrap it all up & I'm a little sad because I want to see more of the side stories. Eun-ho didn't get nearly enough time.

Looks good and it's on my watchlist but requires a Viki+ subscription. I'm not so interested in upgrading for the odd series here and there. I notice that #MyDearest has now moved down to regular Viki so I'm thinking about rewatching at some point. There was a lot that went on in that show! #kdrama -

My take is that the ex-fiancee is necessary for both of them to understand a completely crazy person in their lives.
He gets Su-min's effect on Ji-won because he had to deal with Yu-ra in both timelines.
Otherwise, how could he even comprehend the level of nuts that is Su-min?

Just be aware the "c-trauma" meme is real. #cdrama writers seem to have no compunction about just blithely killing off characters (unless they fall off a cliff- which happens quite frequently and no one ever seems to die from). There are a couple cdramas that just should be renamed "everyone dies by the end". -
I watched the first two episodes of the #kdrama #MyRoyalNemesis (멋진신세계)
So far it has been pretty solid rom-com with both the ML and FL being a bit delightfully unhinged. Great chemistry.
Looking forward to next weekends episodes.

Watching the #cdrama #PrincessAgents - 58 episodes deep and in this ep. horrible things happen (betrayal, death, danger, angst) and then it just……ends. That’s it. The end. No tying up all the loose ends. A cliff hanger and no resolution to anything.
Well, I think there must be a S2. But nope. Or maybe. Or maybe a reboot. Or maybe lead changes. Just big piles of years of speculation online with whispers of scandals. Blah. Blah. Blah.
I just want to know the end of the story.

The first two episodes of #InTheNameOfBlossom dropped on Viki today! This is the Season 2 of #FlourishedPeony. They do a nice re-cap of Season 1 at the beginning of the first episode to get you up to speed for Season 2.
Don't know whether to be happy or horrified to have three really good #cdrama that are currently airing to keep up with.
