@ndrei nice! Not sure what my first thing was, but definitely went through #Mandrake, #Mandriva, #Ubuntu, at various places of study and work too, and now #ArchLinux, with a bit of #Slax, #Alpine, #Gentoo thrown in somewhere....
Long way back started out on #NetBSD but of course that's the odd one out here :P

#Canonical has a well-known heart 🧡 that beats at different rates but always regularly and predictably. For the planning and engineering side of the house, it beats loudly and rapidly twice every six months.
Between these two "heartbeats", I (and loads of other colleagues) have enjoyed a full day of roller coaster 🎢 rides at Liseberg 🇸🇪. It reminded me of my time in IT-Universitetet i København #ITU where #Tivoli was a regular weekend activity.
PS: I don't recommend the Valkyria ride in rain 🌧️.

✈️ Vor 100 Jahren ist der erste Lufthansa-Flieger abgehoben. Derzeit bleiben aber viele am Boden.
🛬 Am Mittwoch und Donnerstag streikt das Kabinenpersonal, für Donnerstag und Freitag hat die Vereinigung Cockpit die Piloten erneut zur Arbeitsniederlegung aufgerufen.

Nyreiltyäni vuosia siitä, miten kirjaston tietokannasta ei ole mahdollista etsiä joulukalenterikirjoja, vaikka niitä ilmestyy joka vuosi uusia ja myös etsitään joka vuosi asiakkaille, otin selvää miten ihan oikeesti ja kaikkien taiteen sääntöjen mukaisesti niille saisi oman asiasanan. Hämmästyksekseni Fintoon tekemäni ehdotus meni sukkana läpi vain viikossa ja "joulukalenterikirjat" on nyt virallinen SLM-termi! 🥳 Sovittiin meidän kuvailijoiden kanssa, että joulun jälkeen kerään listan meidän kokoelmissa olevista teoksista, että saadaan niihin täydennettyä kuvailu. Että kappasta vaan, prosessi toimii. 😅
(Sama suomeksi, nyt on virallinen termi jolla kirjastotietokantoihin voidaan merkitä kirjat, jotka on tarkoitettu luettavaksi yksi luku per joulukuun päivä, eli niistä tulee heittämällä helpommin löydettäviä.)

Über Thomas Gigolds Artikel habe ich Pure Blog von Kev Quirk kennengelernt. Kev hat für sich ein einfaches Content Management System gesucht - und nicht gefunden - über das er einfach nur bloggen konnte. Ohne viel Ballast, zig Plugins etc. Daraufhin hat er einfach sein eigenes System entwickelt, das nun "Pure Blog" heißt. Prieš mėnesį #SEB paskambinus pasakė, kad nieko nereikia daryt ir kortelė automatiškai bus atnaujinta ir atsiųsta. Nesulaukęs siuntos skambinu ir klausiu. Sako, kad kažkoks šūdas parinktas pas juos ir kortelė neatnaujinta. Klausiu, tai kas būtų buvę, jei nebūčiau paskambinęs. Sako būtų kortelė nustojusi galiot 🤦♂️
Išsireikalavau nemokamą atnaujinimą, bet jau teks į skyrių varyt, kad kitą savaitę pasiimt
