Hello NeoComment! 🎉
The first release of NeoComment (1.0.0-alpha.1) is now available on GitHub.
NeoComment is an Android NeoDB client. You can sign up for an account on a NeoDB instance using your Fediverse account and start writing and reading reviews, as well as rating items such as movies, games, music, podcasts or even performances.
I will publish it soon on F-Droid and IzzyOnDroid.

This week I worked 44hs on NeoComment and made a lot lot progress:
- Added replies
- Creating and adding items into collections
- Added Beach theme and dark mode
- Integrated translated languages
- Added preference and about pages
- Added support for RTL on posts
- Updated README, take a look if you are interested: https://github.com/mohammadrafigh/NeoCommentFinally, there is only 1 task that I need to take care before the first alpha release.
I'm positive for a release in the incoming week. -
Here is the repo for NeoComment, Android client for NeoDB. It's currently nothing to show off, but I'm actively developing the project. If you want to contribute in translations there is a link in the repo.

#FontAwesome is raising funds for their new project #WebAwesome, which is a set of web components. Their goal is set to $30,000, and they've received $412,000 so far. With this huge amount of fund, it doesn't make sense to me that they are also providing some "pro" components to monetize the project more.

Don't apply #microservices architecture unless you have a project with multiple frontends and tens of thousands of lines of code and multiple developers who can handle the complexity of the connection between those microservices. It just brings a lot of headaches!
Don't go with #monolithic architecture unless you are granualizing your modules well from the starting point and you know the scalability needs of your services.

When we launched Pendulums v0.1.0 on January 15, 2018, we never imagined reaching around 13k users. What began as a fun project arose from our need for user-friendly and free to use software for small startups like ours.
Today, there are many free and open-source alternatives to Toggl, including Pendulums.

We had a problem in our email service provider which caused a lot of the emails sent from Pendulums being rejected as spam. So many users had problems when signing up and requesting password recovery for 3 months, which is a shame, and we are sorry for that. It's now fixed. We also applied a better email audit to detect and fix these problems earlier.
