@jendefer @Athenalindia have used Decuma for several one shots. Either solo or in support of other systems. It is a brill tool. However I found it too emotionally draining and dark. We jokingly called it Depressema. Everyone should try it. YMMV. #decuma #ttrpg

The Microscope experience was bonkers. I didn't use it to play Microscope. I used it to explain the rules. It did so famously. Including knock on questions about the palette vs big picture using examples to explain the lens.
The bonkers part is using the voice chat in the android app. (headphones icon in the top right corner). We just talked in normal language. Seamless across BT on the commute to work.

Science fiction fun in an RPG. #Traveller and #dnd were the only RPGs at that time. MA went there! Mutants, mutations, zany races, gonzo tech all stuffed in a failed generational starship. It felt unlimited. DandD was Tolkien limited and Traveller was military limited.
It would not be an understatement to say that it changed my life.

Three kernals for #ttrpg #ideas
1) whenever a car drives at 42 kmh all the tires deflate. Everyone drives under 42 kmh.
2) The rocket flame changes colour as the atmosphere thins. This should not happen.
3) A malfunctioning teleporter/transporter will only send you to the busiest restaurant near your target location.

Three kernals
1) floating sickness in a small village. sleeping villagers float towards the stars after they fall asleep.
2) the airlocks on a space station develop a pious judgemental attitude of who gets to open them
3) the pack animals can carry twice as much stuff for no reason at all.
