For computational mechanics/physics, if you code by just punching in the equations from the textbooks directly, the physics should work, but computationally the way you evaluate the quantities may be unstable. This paper lists some recipes to avoid these.
Mostly small strain problem, but still feels icky to leave in.

I've refreshed my memory of "Man of Iron" by #Wajda. Great movie.
It tells how a totalitarian system corrupts everyone in society, and almost impossible they can resist that corruption. It is also a story, about how difficult is to choose the moment of the uprising. That somehow helps understand the context #Maidan, the recent #Bielorussia struggle, or #Iran.
BTW Is #EU founded a project that free streams many great #polish films.

Herbstliche Stimmung an der #Lukaskirche. Irgendwann sollte der Turm wieder vollständig werden, habe da aber schon lange nichts mehr davon gehört.

Ab Sonntag Abend ist in der #Lukaskirche #Dresden die Installation "Five sets of magenta and space" von Henning Haupt zu sehen. Ausstellungseröffnung ist um 19:00 mit Pianoimprovisationen von Scotty Böttcher. Vorher, um 18:00 wird ein Abendgottesdienst mit Musik vom Jugendchor und Scotty Böttcher gefeiert.
Die Installation kann bis 2. Juli besichtigt werden, unter anderem ist die Kirche zur langen Nacht der Wissenschaften geöffnet, genaueres findet ihr auf der Homepage.

Am 5. April 18:00 gibt es in der #Lukaskirche in #Dresden die Johannespassion von Bach. Und am 18. April um 15:00 die Matthäus Passion von Schütz. Der Eintritt zu beiden Veranstaltungen ist frei um eine angemessene Spende wird gebeten.
