The paper to my talk can be downloaded here. Obviously, format is TeX (compile it!) and it was converted with xml2tex from #markupuk flavoured DocBook.

@TeXhackse @LupinoArts @letexml Leider bin ich noch immer nicht dazu gekommen, mich bei #KOMAScript um die tagging-Geschichte zu kümmern. Ich muss jetzt erst einmal sehen, dass ich die restlichen thirdparty-Geschichten fertig bekomme, aus scrlayer-notecolumn ein eigenständiges Paket mache und die nächste KOMA-Script-Release fertig bekomme. Und dann stehen eigentlich noch diverse weitere Umbauarbeiten an und vermutlich die nächsten dringenden Anpassungen an neue Kernel-Änderungen ...

Als nächster spricht @LupinoArts über das CoCoTeX (https://github.com/transpect/CoCoTeX) @letexml
Anforderungen von Verlagen insbesondere bei Überschriftn/Vrzeichnissen & Co sind immer wahnsinnit spezifisch. Damit arbeite ich ja auch ständig.
Und ich bin extrem dankbar für #KOMAScript @koma, dass insbesondere bei so spezifischen Anforderungen wahnsinnig viel erleichtert.

Es ist schön zu sehen, dass es mittlerweile immer mehr Bewegung in Rchtung #Barrierefreiheit #a11y bei #TeXLaTeX gibt:
Axel Strübing stellt die Entwicklung der @letexml auf Lua-Basis für tagging vor. Der Ansatz ist anders als der des LaTeX-Tagging-Projekts.Dateien finden sich mit im zuvor genannten CoCoTeX Repo.

Keine Ahnung, ob es zuverlässig konvertiert. Voraussetzung ist anscheinend strikt epubcheck-fehlerfreier Input.
Wir (@letexml) könnten einen Open-Source-Konverter #epub3→#epub2 schreiben, aber das würde wohl ein paar Personentage kosten. -

My honest response is, as usual for this theme: "here we go again" 😀
There are so many unfinished LaTeX implementations - but some of them are indeed useful.I have a "fake" benchmark file that I use to compare various tools, and here's the first encounter with it. It isn't particularly important - one of the many #LaTeXML tests.
On my machine you stack up quite well - only tralics, pandoc, hevea and the Rust rewrite of LaTeXML are faster:

LaTeXML 0.8.7 was just released!
We're ready for MathML Core, which is expected to be available in all major browsers, early in 2023.

It is neat to see MetaAI using LaTeXML productively for arXiv preprocessing in their Nougat OCR work.
Good discussion in "5.2 Text modalities": there is indeed a lot of hidden complexity when recovering TeX input strings.
Rather tempting to wish for a way to normalize to "canonical" expressions...
