  1. @krishnadraws

I wish I could control what extraneous info is shown. Front and center on my #Kia #EV3 is the text "No current route". I never use the built-in navigation, but it can't be hidden. The speedometer is relegated to the side of that.

It's constantly distracting me with dings to alert me that I seem distracted.
    Worst #UI ever.

I haven't used it with Dropbox, but #InSync (insynchq.com/) does a great job with Google Drive syncing, being faster than even the official Google Drive app (Linux performance compared to the windows google drive app)

It does support dropbox, though. And you pay once per account you sync with (can use it on any number of machines, last I checked). It's not open source, though.

Not snapdragon, but I use an ARM-based laptop, the #Pinebook Pro.

Honestly, Linux on ARM is kinda aggravating. So much stuff just assumes you're running x86_64.

The only way I'd recommend it is if you were using a source-based distro like Gentoo.

  12. @mrcopilot @FreeCAD @Blender @krishnadraws

I've got a decent bit of experience with #TinkerCAD, but would prefer to avoid them now because they've added a #BindingArbitration clause to their ToS, which I find... really swinish.

  13. @fedops @FreeCAD @Blender @krishnadraws

I've got some experience with it, but I'm turned off by their new #BindingArbitration clause.

Scummy corpo's gotta scummy corpo, I guess. :BlobCatAyo:

  14. Ok, guys...

I'm not sure I can quite express how bizarrely freeing and enjoyable this incredibly derpy little exercise was.

I'm definitely going to make a habit of drawing more, even though I really don't know how!

Because NoneHitWonder was right! The schlockiest napkin scrawl is better than the most sublime AI slop!

I was thinking about buying a used #Wacom tablet to draw on, because it would be fun to create #monochrome art in #G/IMP (or heck, even #MacPaint via emulation!!), but I think I'll just continue using my fountain pens, and add doodles to my dot-lined paper notebook.

Thanks to the following amazing people for inspiring me:

  18. I was thinking of maybe converting my avatar into an #Ascii_art file and have it print it out in the console on startup. Not sure how @krishnadraws would feel about that though 😂
