  1. @kaushalmodi welcome to @fosstodon! There are a lot of and folks here along with a lot of other enthusiasts with cool hobbies. And despite popular beliefs you don't have to buy a to fit in with the cool kids like @kev and @cooper!

I have some saved links from your @[email protected] account, not sure if I'll be able to see the ones I didn't boost in the future, need to backup.

  2. @[email protected] This is some excellent next level support!!! Thanks so much, that totally worked. I'll read into the underpinnings more tomorrow.

I hope you saw my kudos to you on my original write-up, otherwise it just seems like pandering now 😆 . Seriously, thanks again for the help and more importantly the excellent project, I'm barely scratching the surface!

  3. @randomgeek @kaushalmodi Alternatively, check out #OrgRoam with the #ORUI interface. This is what I'm using right now as an "external brain", and it's awesome.

  4. Shoutout to @[email protected] for making so feature rich! Anytime I want to do something in but still do it directly with in it's supported by ox-hugo. Today it was details and summary collapsible drawers. Thanks Kaushal!

  5. wrote the last few blogs posts on janusworx.com/blog using #OrgMode in #Emacs and then copy pasted them and rewrote them using markdown

Wondering if it’s worth putting in the time, to move #Writing completely to Org mode using something like @kaushalmodi’s #OxHugo

  6. @shom Thanks, thanks, thanks Kaushal for cooking ( + + made easy !)

  7. I like URLs that are descriptive but sharing them in posts take up a lot of valuable characters. I don't want to use a third party url shortner because of the chance for dead links. And even if I host it, it's decoupled from the content and adds another link in the chain that could break. Thanks to @kaushalmodi's ox-hugo, even obscure Hugo features are usable.

So I decided to add short URL of the site, by the site, for the site: shom.dev/s/1ba87346

  8. @shom

    Thanks for the welcome!

Haha. Glad to see a lot of familiar folks here.

This is the first time I am transferring to a new Mastodon instance. I'll need to figure out how to access my old posts once that instance is down.
